Following bumpy, serpentine roads, you'll slowly ascend from the bustling town of Jaén in Northern Peru into the Andes, eventually reaching Progreso and the farms of the Padilla family. This coffee comes to us from Florian and Pedro Padilla. Along with their other two brothers, the four siblings work their farms collectively. The family practices Minga, which roughly translates to "today for me, tomorrow for you." Their attention to detail, favorable altitude and traditional varieties offer us a nuanced cup with sweet layers of stone fruit and cocoa.
